PGNiG says Gazprom sues it over dividends of EuRoPol Gaz
WARSAW, Feb 2 (PRIME) -- Polish gas company PGNiG has received a suit of Russian gas giant Gazprom in which it demands payment of dividends on the profit of EuRoPol Gaz, the operator of the Polish part of the Yamal–Europe natural gas pipeline, PGNiG said in a statement on Wednesday.
PGNiG says that all demands are groundless and that it fulfills all obligations of a EuRoPol Gaz shareholder in compliance with legislation.
PGNiG owns 51.18% in EuRoPol Gaz directly and indirectly through subsidiary GAS-TRADING, while Gazprom has a 48.82% stake.
